Dart Controls is committed to delivering reliable industrial motor controls and automation products. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, limitations, and procedures for warranty service.

Limited Product Warranty

Dart Controls warrants that its products are manufactured using high-quality materials and workmanship. Subject to the terms outlined below, products purchased directly from Dart Controls or an authorized distributor are warranted to be free from defects under normal operating conditions during the applicable warranty period.


Warranty Coverage

  • Products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.
  • The standard warranty period is one (1) year from the original shipment date unless otherwise specified.
  • Dart Controls will, at its discretion, repair or replace products determined to be defective.
  • Replacement products may be new or factory refurbished.
  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Warranty Eligibility

To qualify for warranty service, products must:

  • Be installed according to published installation instructions.
  • Be operated within the specified electrical and environmental ratings.
  • Not be modified or repaired by unauthorized personnel.
  • Be used only for their intended industrial applications.
  • Include proof of purchase or shipment date when requested.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover failures resulting from:

  • Improper installation or wiring.
  • Incorrect voltage or power supply.
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidental damage.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Exposure to moisture, chemicals, excessive heat, or corrosive environments.
  • Normal wear and cosmetic damage.
  • Acts of nature including flood, fire, lightning, or other natural disasters.

Warranty Service Procedure

Before returning any product, customers must obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Products returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.

  • Contact our Customer Service department.
  • Provide the product model number and serial number (if applicable).
  • Describe the issue and operating conditions.
  • Include proof of purchase when requested.

Inspection & Repair

Returned products will be inspected by our technical service team. If the product is determined to be covered under warranty, Dart Controls will repair or replace the product at no charge for parts and labor.

If inspection determines that the failure is not covered under warranty, customers will be notified before any repair work is performed.


Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for shipping products to Dart Controls.
  • Dart Controls will pay standard return shipping for approved warranty repairs within the applicable service region.
  • Expedited shipping requests may incur additional charges.

Limitation of Liability

Dart Controls shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

  • Loss of production
  • Loss of profits
  • Downtime
  • Labor expenses
  • Installation or removal costs
  • Damage to associated equipment

Dart Controls' maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.


Technical Support

Our experienced technical support team is available to assist with installation, troubleshooting, product selection, and warranty-related questions. Many issues can be resolved without returning the product.


Policy Updates

Dart Controls reserves the right to revise this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice. Updates become effective upon publication on this website.
